I am Shona McFarlane, an experienced and fully qualified professional coach, working with individuals in need of clarity and direction.

I have helped clients focus on issues including:

  • increasing personal energy and resilience
  • dealing with threats and stress
  • finding clarity and direction
  • improving mental wellbeing
  • breaking bad habits
  • becoming happier.

I am always humbled by the progress my clients make, both during and after their retreats. I have a dynamic, warm, intuitive and of course confidential approach to personal development coaching. Using a variety of techniques, I will motivate, energise and support you.

Step out of your day to day life to focus on yourself and your needs in a totally tailored coaching retreat. Cotswold Coaching Retreats are held in my home, a 200-year-old Cotswold stone cottage in a lovely tranquil environment, in a small Gloucestershire village close to the border with Oxfordshire.

What makes Cotswold Coaching Retreats special? As well as having Shona's expertise all to yourself, in a Cotswold Coaching Retreat the entire retreat is a coaching session. This is an intensive coaching package, with a number of elements chosen to meet your needs and to give you lasting results. Every moment is designed to help you move forwards in a better way.

What is included?

  1. A 30-minute pre-retreat telephone call for me to establish your needs and answer any questions. 
  2. Whether you choose an intensive, individually designed coaching retreat lasting half a day, a whole day, two days or just 90 minutes, you will receive the same warm welcome into my home. You will meet my small dog, two cats and chickens. As you engage in a number of specially selected and customised activities at a gentle pace, I will be walking beside you all the way. Most Cotswold Coaching Retreats  include a "walk and talk" session strolling through the stunning Cotswold landscape with me. You will be supported and guided throughout the retreat.
  3. Nutritious home-cooked vegetarian meals and snacks (accommodation can be arranged in a nearby B&B).
  4. A 30-minute post-retreat telephone call to see how you are doing with your new approaches and/or techniques.
